Google Releases Malware Bouncer to desist in the Android Market

Aware of the presence of Malware which at times can perch on Androd Market, Google has finally released a new service called "Bouncer" to detect potential malware in the application market.

In performing its duties, Bouncer will scan (scan) a new application, which already exist in the Market, and developers account for malware, spyware, trojans, and other malicious applications that have been known.

This service is said to have been running some time ago between the first and second half of 2011. According to Google claims the service has reduced the number of downloads of potentially dangerous applications from the Android Market about 40 percent.

Android itself, according to Google is designed to prevent Marware from doing significant damage.

"In addition to using the new services to prevent malware, we designed from scratch to make Android mobile malware can not interfere," Google wrote on its official blog Googlemobile.

"On the PC, the malware has more potential for misuse of your information. We learn from this approach, designing Android devices connected to the internet." he continued.

As previously reported, recently a threat known as "Android.Counterclank" is rumored to have tertanan to various applications in the Android Market. Symantec estimates that this malware has been installed between 1-5 million devices. Anti-virus developers have also identified several malicious applications are released at least by three publishers.
