Google Accuses Apple and Microsoft use 'Patent False' to Make Android Devices

Apple, Microsoft, Oracle, and several other companies have been accused of trying to create a Google Android smartphone more expensive for consumers.

As quoted PULSAonline via theguardian, said that Google's rivals allege that the company shall be deemed to have been running a "hostile, organized campaign" using "fake patents" obtained from Nortel, a company undergoing bankruptcy based in Canada. Where it is said that these companies now have such patent.

Google through its Chief Legal Officer, David Drummond, alleging that the company's proficiency level is effectively imposing 'taxes' to jack up the price of Android devices.

Not remain silent, Microsoft also hit back at Google, where the general counsel, Brad Smith, said that it had invited to join Google in bidding Nortel patents, but was refused. While Apple and Oracle representatives declined to comment related to this issue.

Drummond also alleges that its rival had used "anti-competitive strategy by increasing the cost of the patent beyond what is supposed to be" and use it to resist innovation.

"In this case we think it matters discussed and made clear that we are determined to preserve the Android as a competitive choice for consumers, by stopping people who are trying to strangle," said Drummond.
