Android Tips: Move to SD Card

One advantage of the Android operating system that is often touted by vendors who carried is a wealth of applications it offers. Of the approximately 500 thousand applications owned, 28% are paid applications.  

With relatively few paid apps, Android proved able to lure users by the number of daily activation that reached up to 900 thousand devices.The number of applications that would require abundant memory space is not small. Unfortunately, by default any application that you install to your Android device will definitely go into the internal memory of the phone. With a limited internal memory capacity will certainly limit the number of applications that you can install to your phone. To fix this, you can move installed applications from the internal memory to external memory safely without the need to take risks as do the rooting or hacking other steps. The following are steps you can take: 
1. Download the file from the following link: here * then extract it to your PC.

2. Be sure to install the driver first phone to your PC, so the PC can recognize the phone when connected.

 3. Enable USB debugging on your phone by giving a check mark in settings-> applications-> development-> USB Debugging. Especially for a phone with the latest Android OS 4.0, you can find the setting USB debugging by going to settings-> developer options-> android debugging.


4. Enable also install APK from sources not identified by checking in settings-> appplications-> Unknown sources.

5. After that, connect your phone to your PC using a data cable. 

6. After the successful PC recognize your phone, immediately run the "Enable Move To SD".


7. To move applications from internal memory to external memory, please go to settings-> applications-> manage applications. Then tap the application you want to move by selecting the "Move to SD card". Just compare the two examples shown below. The first image is a Facebook application before you activate the "Move to SD card", which is where the "Move to SD card" is not active. While the second picture is a picture after you've managed to enable "Move To SD"
